QI LAN WUYI
From Fujian Province, Wuyi District, this rock tea is 60% fermented from an 80-year-old "Qi Lan" tea bush. The plantation is in the protected area of Wuyi Shan with the other "teas from the Rocks". The cultivation takes place in wild small plots, the picking and shaping is done traditionally and by hand. Quantities are very limited to an annual harvest. The dry leaves are brown verging on bronze; the infusion is golden yellow, amber.
Holds a floral aroma and very good length in the mouth. This exceptional tea is highly sought after in China for its quality produced by this award-winning family of producers.
