Description
In the south of the province, in the district of Chao Zhou, one of the Dan Cong, here the tea tree is “Mi Lan Xiang”.
Cultivated at the beginning of the 12th century under the Song dynasty (960-1279), also known as «le Bouquet du Phénix».
Grown at altitudes between 500 and 1000 metres, on rich soil in a warm and humid climate. The plantations are located in mountains that are mostly covered with clouds and fog.
The leaves are tapered, brown bronze color, with a 60% fermentation. The aroma is reminiscent of roasted cereals with flowers. The taste is fine and elegant, with a note of litchi in the background.
